When She Walks Like A Professional Model | Senior Photos

So you know this girl rocks at life when she walks down the pathway like a professional model. That’s just what Diane did during our photo session together and I’m still in shock at the poise and professionalism she just embodied. Seriously. Just like a professional model.

Diane came to me as a referral from another senior session I did (thank you Erin and Claire!!) and I knew, from the very first telephone conversation, that I was going to *really* enjoy this family. We met at a gorgeous location in Ellicott City, MD, (my first time photographing there but definitely not my last) and my heart just filled up during the hour or so we spent together. The light was perfect, the weather was beautiful and the images make me happy just looking at them.

Diane was accompanied by her mom, Jen, and her sister, Megan, and all three were funny, engaging and just a pleasure to be around. Plus, Diane and Megan have a really sweet relationship with one another and I’m strongly considering asking Jen if she would mind raising my children for me – because she obviously did something (*many* things) right with her girls. (Actually, I’m really serious, as I sit here listening to my children bicker and snark at one another…it does get better, right??)

I’m pretty sure Jen has a photographer’s eye because she was the one who pointed out the light behind Diane in the shot below. I’m not sure where my brain was but I was in a completely different spot and she sweetly said something like, “You’re the professional but come over here and look at this light!” 😳Um, yes. Let’s shoot right there. Perfection.

There was nothing too hard for Diane to accomplish, whether it was a pose or a certain facial expression or just the way she existed comfortably in her own skin. Thank you, Diane, for a really pleasant evening. I so enjoyed meeting you and taking your senior photos ❤️
